Perishable Products

AirOcare's patented air purification technology has been widely adopted in the perishable products industry (fruits, vegetables, meats and flowers) for its ability to destroy molds, bacteria and viruses while also reducing ethylene levels and extending product shelf life. AirOcare's units have been installed throughout the cold chain in cold storage rooms, processing areas, refrigerated trucks/containers and grocery display cases.

Under a recently signed agreement, Ingersoll Rand now has the exclusive global right to manufacture, market, sell, install and service AirOcare's patented air and surface purification technology across the perishable product cold chain.

AirOcare and Ingersoll Rand will work together to insure the seamless transition of the business covered by the license agreement. Ingersoll Rand's Climate Control Technologies sector provides equipment and services to manage controlled-temperature environments for food and other temperature sensitive products. The Climate Control Technologies sector encompasses both transport and stationary refrigeration solutions globally throughout the perishable cold chain industry. This agreement increases the access and opportunity to introduce the patented air and surface purification technology across the entire perishable global cold chain.
